My Graduate!

Jason finally had his graduation last night, so that was fun! It's all officially over now! (school that is!) For now at least.

In other news, I got my name changed on my bank account and got Jason added yesterday, and got my new plates for my car, I'm officially a Wisconsinite! Today I called all of my credit cards to change my name, and got my car insurance switched over, yay! Jason's car insurance rate for six months went from $540 to $307, just for being married!! Being married is good, we had a good day and got all sorts of things accomplished, this is the scrapbook layout that I did while watching the Idol finale tonight, and another picture of Jason graduating! Other than that, life is pretty much the same...cept that the two peas gallery isn't working so well right now, GRRRR! That is all for now, have a great night!

Productive day off.

Even though I did a bunch of laundry and went to get my license with my new name on it yeasterday, I felt that I was much more productive today!! You know why that is? It's because I got some scrapbooking done!! Hooray! The dare for today was an ad inspiration, from which I gleaned my Fancy page, and then I did one of Alex and one of my bachelorette party! Hope you enjoy them!

I have a new nephew!!

Alex Pratt Mercy...I think that's how they spell it...9 pounds, 2 ounces, 19 3/4 inches long! I can't wait to meet him!

Alex is coming, Alex is coming!

Today has been a good one, I feel like I've gotten things done, at least. I got up at 8, and finished my fabulous friends page, got ready to leave the house, went to Kenosha to the Social Security office to apply for a card with my new name on it, and then to Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby had half off rub-ons, and cardstock, and I had a coupon for half off ribbon...so I spent a lot of money and went home. Then I ate some lunch with my Sweetie and we went to Gateway to check if his website was working in ie yet, and when we were leaving I got a call from work and they want me to come in tomorrow morning for a while, so that will be good to make a little money to make up for what I spent at the hoblob!! Heh, then Jenny called and said that they just had their appointment and that she's being induced tomorrow morning at 5:30, yay!! I'm going to have another nephew tomorrow! Then I did my once upon a time page, and now I am writing my blog as to not put any more than two pages on here for today...maybe I'll do one for Alex's arrival tomorrow!! That would be way fun, I can't wait to meet him! Anyway, I should get back to scrapping!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!

Jason scrapped with me a little for the occasion of National Scrapbook Day, we worked on our superpower pages...Mine is right here, his is still in progress, I will surely post it when he finishes! I think it's been a wonderful day, even though I had to work. It would have been nice to be home all day and get some major scrapping done...but it was not to be, I think Kim is having a crop night at her house in a couple of weeks that I can actually make it to, so that would be GREAT. Still no news about baby Alex...we are all eagerly awaiting his arrival! I'm going to see now how my Sweetie is doing with his page!

Today was GREAT!

This is my page for Dare #26!! I had fun with my new paints, thanks for looking!

So many great things happened today!! Let me tell you a little about them...

-I didn't have to work!!

-Jason got his website up and running!! (greengeckodesign.com)

-Jason got a business checking account started for Green Gecko Design.

-Jason took me to the scrapbook store and I got new paints!! (see page above!)

-Jason took me to the Sip 'n' Ship, and they had brand new tubs of ice cream!!

Wow, so many great things that I'm all worn out, it will be good to watch some TV with my LOVE and rest a while.

Happy May 3rd!

This is my page for today. I only have to work a part of the day tomorrow, so I am excited about that...I was supposed to be off but Sandy asked me if I would do activities so that she could have the day off, and I need the hours, and as long as I'm not having to lift anyone, I think it will be fun...the activities part of my job is the part I really love best, the part where I get to do things with the residents...that's why I like working weekends, cause we get to do fun things like have tea parties and such! :) Anyway, I must now make my dad's birthday card, so I should go, have a great night, all!

I love days off work!

Today was a great day off work, I got to stay up late, sleep in, scrapbook ALL day, we left the house once..to go pay a bill, I got to spend time with my Sweetie, I ate a piece of leftover birthday cake, I did some laundry, overall, I feel like I've accomplished things, which feels good...I got to use some of the fun new things I got at Walmart last night...the rick-rack and a button and thread, fun stuff. I think I feel like starting another project before Idol starts, thanks for looking at my blog!
